CC Plus and The Math Map

How does the math map work with CC Plus?

For challenge students wanting to take dual credit math classes such as college algebra, pre calculus, calculus, etc….will they be at the necessary level to take those classes and get dual credit?

1. CC+ - there is a plan to make a CC+ class available to students using The Math Map. We don't have any details yet, but we are planning for a transition in CC+ to The Math Map away from Saxon.
2. Outside dual enrollment - As always CC acknowledges the parent as their student's first and best teacher and as such encourages parents as they seek to meet each student's academic needs. Through The Math Map, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the grammar of mathematics needed for advanced studies and the algebraic domains will provide ample practice applying algebraic principles to solve problems. While The Math Map team cannot determine the readiness of any individual student, students who complete Polynomials will have practiced all major math concepts while operating upon polynomial functions and students who complete Expressions will have practiced all major math concepts while operating upon rational functions.
